Touring windscreen

Any input on the Zero Gravity touring wind screen? Just wondering how it cuts the wind, reduces buffeting etc. It's that one or the double bubble. I'm setting up for mid-range touring, with the daly city commute and occasional track day.

I am 6'2" and it cuts the wind fine for me. I can keep the visor up and have no wind problems at all.

I get a little head bobble on the highway but I try to stay away from the straight roads whenever possible. It does make it easier to tuck though, especially with a tank bag.

this might sound uncoventional. i prefer the flatter, oem shapes because they allow the wind to support my body some. i also like the fact that they direct the compressed wind blast onto my chest and not to my head.

there is something i prefer about the sport tour screens that is also contrary to conventional thought. i like their look! i noticed this look on the fabbri screens on the old '90s era ducati racing bikes.

I have it too. I didn't realize how LARGE it was going to be, at first I didn't like it aethetically. But after a few cool morning rides (-7C), it was a godsend. Basically gives awesome wind protection.

I also have the zero gravity touring wind screen, I commute on the hwy regularly, it works very well functionally, but is made from fairly thin flimsy plastic. I think MRA makes a better one but it is about $35 more.

SECDEM High Protection

A bit spendy, but looks/works very well. Made of sterner stuff than the Double Bubble.

Great comments. I didn't know about the MRA and SECDEM screens. (german and french) They look good. Opinions? And the best way to get ahold of one in Canada/North America?

Could someone Post a picture of the touring windscreen actually on a bike? I am thinking of either this or the double bubbe but I do not know which one I want.

First mod I did after purchasing the storm after a test ride was fit the flip up screen as I found the wind blast at 80+mph into my lid and chest annoying (I'm 5' 10").

More pics

I've had the ZG Touring since as long as I had the 02 - since new BTW

really helps block wind off chest & helmet

Ahhh! Thanks! I've had the new windscreen for a couple years but I didn't install it because of the parts. I guess I need to get off the kester and just do it!

Thanks again.

I have a MRA TouringScreen on order (actually back order; should be here in a couple of weeks). I will post a picture of it installed if anyone is interested.

I would do that but the stock gaskets looked frail. Figured I'd just replace it. Thinking about going to Inde Motorsports Ranch track in Wilcox. Anyone been there yet?
