Great job Olaf, not just meeting contract requirements but actually making your machine better! Did you know that if you make your machine better you are making yourself better? What is on your list next? Seems like you must be enjoying the bike well, you are putting time and money into it.
Well I guess it's on for May, I wonder what wackiness will come out of the woodwork this month?

It was actually a really fun project... Just a few minor snags along the way. I ended up rigging a couple homemade tools for certain steps and plan to post about those in a bit.
Aside from the F4i shock from Jamie, no other immediate plans aside from enjoying the bike!

SPRHK: Considering how many online stores post inaccurate pics representing certain items, it's nice to see the 'Coerce' front fender DOES have the extension down the fork leg. creates a fuller front for sure. Seems like quite thick well made stuff?
Aside from that, excellent mods!! All the essentials taken care of. Definately BOTM potential that should make Olaf Angry i imagine.
Olaf: If ur next mod isn't new cans, someone should come take your bike off you, and not returned until you've learned your lesson.
Good luck this month however. It'll happen.......

I do agree that SPRHK has a very nice specimen! Definitely SHOTM worthy... Though if mdbuehler would quit slacking and get his bike in the running, he just might get my vote again.

Gentlemen,
Thanks for the compliments. She IS my pride and joy! All work done to her was all done by me as well. I trust NO ONE with her! Even though she is only one in my harum, she just may be my very favorite!

owners name: Luis
year: 1997 (41.000 kms)
color: red/white
modifications: Two carbons hight mouth exausts with stainless steel pipes (F1), car alarm, Zero gravity windshield, Ermax carbon chain and rear weel protection (donīt know how to say it in english), small lower fairing and mirrors painted red, and pearl white weels.
Everything else is stock. 114 hp in Dyno.
Iīm only racing VTROTM with the same pictures as last month because the shipping parts to mod her are very delay.
She is going to be stripped of the fairings and be an awesome naked bike.
Now, who votes for this Classic and beautifull VTR?
I donīt have anything to offer for your vote, but...
Itīs an old school one.
Just look at the Cadaloraīs helmet, is it a classic or what?
On top of that, itīs in the fastest color

Very true!
8541Hawk... I hope both you and your bike are back in healthy working order ASAP! And assuming your bike is being brought back up to the same condition I don't see why month old photos wouldn't be acceptable. I say put it in next month!
Lazn - I hope to see your's in the June poll as well... (slacker! )

At least it appears to be mainly cosmetic though.

Owwww, sorry about that! Must've missed the post, but you are allright it appears!
If it makes you feel any better, I just finished installing a huge mirror as part of a bathroom renovation, and took the box it came in into the garage to chuck into the pile o'trash. Realizing the pile was close to the bike, I threw the box well to the right, and I'll be damned if that mother @#$ box didn't boomering around and go corner first into my front fender. Split right up the @#$ middle!
I swear to get back at me, she immediately corked up the back cylinder's carb so now I've a Saturday of work before me as punishment!

NOOOOOOOO! Awful, that stinks big time. Going to return it to roadworthy-ness?

Luca
Very clean. And with Luca's helmet, well, anymention of a guy who who rode for King Kenny, gotta be worth a vote {in spite of the color.}

People need to realise in alot of cases when entering your bike, it's the photos that will get you votes more so than the mods you've done.
If it were based on the mods alone, SPRHK would undoubtedly be streaks ahead. But alas Luis' photos are great size & resolution but more importantly, taken on the right angles!! In saying that, the white rims & those shading-like details on the fairings along with the high mounts make for a great looking bike.
