Touring Windscreen - SOLD

I have a slightly used touring windscreen. A couple very fine scratches, no biggy. And there is an area where someone looked like they kept scotch tape on it for a while, so the residue is left on there. It takes up a pretty small area. Could come out with some cleaning. 30$ obo.

Is the screen opaque? It looks like you wouldn't be able to see through it at all.

You can see through it, it's just the lighting in the picture. In the sunlight it would probably be considered dark smoked. But yes, you definitely see through it.

Not to be a smartass, but what would it matter if it was opaque? When (and how) can you actually look through the windshield on your 'Hawk?

Very interested...is this price shipped?
If not, can you estimate shipping to zip 89131.
Thanks,
Andy

I have a 40 mile commute to work and I tend to stay tucked through most of it. The stock shield has horrible optics and is almost impossible to see through, so I would definitely want a higher shield to have decent optics.

I'll take it, but it sounds like 102dals spoke first. If he changes his mind, PM me.

EDIT: I should mention that at 5'9" and 150 lbs I'm pretty compact, so I actually fit down close enough to the tank to see through the stock screen.

You'd be surprised at the difference a "touring" or double-bubble shield makes. I used to tuck in down the interstate, but with a double-bubble PUIG I can sit straight up with no helmet wobble.

Important if you want to shoot video through it too.

I'll certainly letcha know. I have one guy looking at it right now, so if that falls through i'll get to whomever contacted me after that. And no, the price isn't shipped. I'll let you know shipping once i get your zip. Cool? Sweet!

Very true, but anything tinted isn't gonna let you do that

Tape goo came off really easy. Can't wait to stick it on the SH and try it out on the road.
