Thoughts on M4 exhaust

I purchased my first bike which is also a project bike for $850 a few weeks ago. It came with Heli bars and M4 stainless exhaust, what are your thoughts and comments on the M4s? I tried using search but with no results.

here's mine

is it a full or slipon? if it's for sale, i 'll take it!!!!!

slipons are pretty much all the same. full systems
maybe built better from brand to brand, but are
going to increase power moderately only (if a jet
kit and tuining is right). main difference is the
quality of canister!!! M4's ok. i have slipons.
very loud. build is good, not great.

welcome

Slip-ons, not trying to sell them at least not right now. Just trying to find out what everybody thinks about them for the S Hawk. I've been to the website and my boy has some on his R1.

I had an M4 slip-on on my 1000RR and it sounded nice, had pretty good build quality, and looked sharp. Not the most power, but then it WAS a slip-on, not a full exhaust. By the way they sounded on the RR I'm sure they will rumble on the VTR. It's more about weight and sound with the 'Hawk rather than outright power gain. Gettin' the 'Hawk down to about 425 wet is the key to success with this bike, IMO. Well, that and getting the suspension sorted.

I had M4 Ti S/O on my SV. I agree, good sound, good looks, OK quality.

i have full m-4 system on my hawk and love it. much louder than stock and way better than any other system i have heard, (in my opinion), on superhawks. there are picks on here somewhere of my exhaust.
