For those that ride really hard the stock swing arm flexes enough to notice.

For the other 99% of us it'd only be for looks.

Well much like the stock forks, the stock swingarm has quite a bit of flex in it. While riding at moderate street speed (or sane speed.....lol) it's not that big of a deal. Start pushing the bike and you can really feel it.

So much like swapping the forks, this makes the bike much more stable and planted it you like to run it fairly hard.

OK then ......Sorry to thread jack, by the way, if i dont swap fork and just change the inners, to suite my weight then i should be fine with a fork brace ? I am waiting for Dr Honda to work some magic in regards to the fork brace.

Yes a fork brace really helps the stock front end. It is well worth the $$ to put one on. Like most things though, there is a right way to install them. I guess it's time to have another "The proper way to install a fork brace" thread.

what if someone were to take the 900rr brace and make a copy, bend some pipe up for it attach some mounting points and call it a day. could make some money. hell id buy one if the price was right and if it was setup to install without having to change too much around

Well you could but 900rr swing arms can be had for real cheap on flea-bay. Around here you can cut the brace off and sell the rest for scrap Al and get pretty much all your $$ back

The wheels are old Hi-Point forged aluminiums, 6x17 rear and a standard 3.5 x 17 front
