Stumpys VTR Mod's

Hello all so some pics of my mods are here and there on the forum thought I would try to organize them and ask for comments going for the yellow/black with frame silver color black rims maybe yellow ring around rim. Along with the performance mods of front forks per Hawkrider, new Ohlin’s rear shock, shock and swingarm bearing and seals, fork brace, steering head bearings and seals, yellow undertail and rear hugger, helibars, new Rearsets and stuff I sure I forgot to list. Here are some pics I will post the ones on the other threads here also so here I go.

Later

Looking real solid, Bro!!! Could you format your pictures a little larger and do some close ups? Looks like that bird got pretty bare before it started going the other way. You won't believe how "worth it" this all was until you ride it. It was like I built a custom bike for me. It worked great, ran great, sounded great, was a dream to drive compared to stock and was about three notches better looking than when the build began. Keep up the good work!

It looks like you modified the undertray of the seat. Was this for trackdays and what issues is this supposed to address? The little cylinder attached to the passenger peg. Is this for the shock or is it an oiler for the chain? The shock looks like a stocker or is it an Ohlens? Nice photography btw. It looks like the rearsets have a stoplight switch. I thought the Moriwaki's did not have this in place. Did you make this or what?

I did the undertray mod so the new undertail would fit. Might have been less work to use a fender elimator but not sure have not seen pics of any so not sure. Yes it is a ohlens. I also did the stoplight switch it is just a limit switch that you will find in almost any door opener I thought it worked out nice use stock wire just cut it off of the old switch not sure how it will work in the wet yet might have to water prof it.

Looks great so far, I think you'll really like the Ohlins. That looks like the Mototeck undertail. If so what all was involved in the install?
