Staintune Jetting? Ohlins Shock install? ??

Hello -I will be installing the Staintune high pipes with optional silence baffle removed soon. I will be using the OEM air filter. The Staintune tech guy insists it will not need rejetting as long as I stay with the stock air filter even with the silence baffles removed. My bike is bone stock right now and runs great. I would like to avoid a complete jet kit install if not necessary. I am going to "de pair" it(not done yet). Do I need to add a shim under the needles(size?from radio shack?) or readjust fuel mixture screws? Any advice from members and other Staintune owners is appreciated and thanks to those who I have already returned my pm's.
I am in Florida at sea level-it is hot and humid!! I will also be installing an Ohlins rear shock-I have a factory service manual but any tips on the shock install would be appreciated? Lastly-my little 2005 owners manual says the oil filter should be torqued to 26NM while the factory service manual says 10NM? I think 26NM is a misprint? Thanks for any help-Mort

I wouldn't torqe the oil filter at all. Make it hand tight, usually about 3/4 turn once the gasket seats.

If you don't have it, here is the tech data and mounting instructions for the shock.

10 NM is about 7 ft-lbs. That sounds right for hand tight
