Truly find the apology -Ludicris.. Looking at your list of two wheeler investiments.
There is only "Form and Function" and rest of it, is for show. and will fade away.

Some ONLY "invest" in show.

I tend to have different vehicles for different reasons.

Then add a lil "show" to a function bike and a little function to a "show" bike.

You should have seen what the Suzuki engineers were taking when they came up with the TL1000 rear suspension ;-)

There's absolutely NO rear shock off of ANY other bike that can bolt in/ somewhat easily be modified to fit the sh?

If so Honda engineers must have been on some straight up crack.

Not new to sprotbikes but this is the first older one I plan on keeping.

Thanks for the slam on the bikes I own. I don;t see anyone talking **** about your lil interceptor....

TRUST I know Ruckus and ANY sportbike are in different worlds but they're TUNER bikes. Most owners were or are still into the import car scene and moved into customizing The ruckus. It's about being different not being FAST and "COOL" cause "omg I ride a sportbike, all others are pieces of ****." "totally bro, look at what else he owns dude is a poser squid bitch"

Yeah that's how you and a few others on here come off.
-------------
First off young man, I was racing Suzuki 380 triples when you were shitting your diapers.
You don't have a NR 750, and it was "Limited production". Not what I was talking about.
As far as "tuners" and ****, that is all kid stuff so knock yourself out.
As far as my 1984 Interceptor.... try and find find one as nice anywhere.
As far as "cool".... not my thing.
I ride a SH because of the great bike it is. STOCK.

As far as being a "squid bitch", well whatever "Dude".

Enjoy the ruckus, hope you find a rear shock for your SH that won't break your piggy bank.

Carry On,

So go ahead and bash the people that gave you suggestions in the beginnIng. Dont you think that if there was a cheaper alternative out there most everyone would be rocking it?
See how much help you will receive from members if you continue this way.

First off.

Thank you for your service.

Secondly. This isn't a pissing match....

These tuners are just like hot rodders. just different metal.(most of the ruckus guys are 30-45)

It's cool. I'm not trying to have animosity towards you yet you want to pull king of the road **** on me.....

Theres no reason to play nice and live in gummy bear land but **** man. we don;t need to be dicks about everything.

I'm done. Just here trying to share/learn and show/see.

Not trying to step on toes just don;t get why i'm being slammed for looking for anything different or cheaper than the norm.

Yeah if there was a cheaper alternative there probably would be people rocking it. that still doesn't mean it's not out there. again I don;t get the animosity towards trying to find cheaper/easier. I'm not calling anyone WRONG or even saying there HAS to be a way Just hoping maybe it's out there unknown or looked over/past.

The entire race-ready setup for my BMW cost less than that.
Now we have the 99% or "occupiers" on here complaining of corporate greed........

Not here for that either, you caught me in a pissy mood.
Sorry!
No offense meant, to each his own.
I do hope you find something that works for you.
As for me, I am off to buy a leftover 2006 Guzzi Breva 1100 for $5800! (new)
Can't beat that deal for a standard and very cool bike.
Getting a little old to be on the SH all day (pain in the ***** and back).

Best Wishes from Seattle,
Sorry to be such an old, nasty ****.
Peace,
Gunny

LOL, yeah, I am a sucker for big twins and my daughter won't ride on my SH, hates the perch and won't lean forward and "hug" me when on it so I gotta get something standard.
Not much of a resale market for Guzzi's, but I will probably keep it awhile.
Best,
Gunny

The 6 way adjustable rotary dampener was the most advanced motorcycle shock of the day! Too bad no one could figure out how to tune it.

8541Hawk will become famous soon enough
Well I do find this thread damn funny.....

Like my first statement, I do find it funny how you go on about all the cash you have spent mod'ing stuff but all of your posts bitch about how much stuff costs...

Then you now start with how there are just a bunch of dicks on here that just want to harass you..... and all the elitist comments and what not...

Though you also might want to look at yourself here.
I guess you don't see how you come off.....

Just maybe you might have sounded like "Hey does any other shock fit as you guys are just too stupid to have thought of this or done the research on this".....

Just maybe the way you word your posts might be a big part of your problem.

There is a lot of useful information on here and more than one person that would go way out of their way to help a fellow member out.

So have fun with your search and have a nice day.....

I figured it out:

The hipster scooter has softened you to prices for a 180lb, 4hp skateboard delivery vehicle!

http://totalruckus.com/phpBB3/viewto...p?f=12&t=16647

A high end shock costs $185 and a used swap is $40.

I want a Ruckus now. I'd mount guns to it.

Do. It up man. They're the most fun you'll ever have going 40-70mph. Other than a nice chicane or teo.

A lot of the ruck shocks cost more than that but your prices aren't too off.

A nice stage , yss, or the like will cost up to 450 (new) but my daytona showa shock is 185 new and I got mine used from a buddy for mounting a tire for him and 80 bones.

Cheaper yes but kind of a lot considering how small and slow they are. They're qquite fun though and as much as a lot of them look the same you can pretty easily totally seperate your ruck from others.

With stock motors they get 100mpg too.lol.

From here on out I'm going to keep quieter and watch my tone more carefully.

I still only feel half way chastised
