GEN III MOSFET Kit now available. No more soldering, no old wiring OEM harness used.... All new cabling from RR to stator & battery

Gen III Plug and play ready to install Superhawk MOSFET RR Kit FH020 Tested Good used RR, New FH 020 or SH 847 available at additional cost. ( 50 amp rated, and the VTR Alt output is MAX of 23.3amps @12VDC)
$153.00 shipped Priority mail in the US.

Easy, fast and complete, not a general fit kit that will have excess wiring you have to pile up someplace, but a kit that is designed to fit the Honda Superhawk perfectly.

Entire kit is pre-assembled. The installer only need remove old RR, bolt in place the new MOSFET RR, unplug the stator from the old wiring harness and plug in the new RR cabling provided. Add the charge cable ring terminals to your batter and your done, zip tie cabling in place, replace tail cowl and go ride. This kit will come with 6mm battery terminals found commonly on lead acid type batteries. If you want the smaller 5mm terminals used with some Li Ion batteries just ask at the time you order.
This kit replaces all of the known problems with the VTR charging system. Melted plugs, burnt wires, Diode RR, gaining increased charge voltage to the battery in the process. All protected in your choice of the available wire sheathing options, marine rated circuit breaker. No weak soldered joints all terminals are professionally crimped with the correct F and O crimps on wire / insulator with heat shrink tube stress relief on terminals where needed.

Erik, Does the Gen III R/R bypass the OEM harness and plug in the stator connection just behind the tank? If so can I just purchase the cable so I can connect the R/R I purchase from you and alleviate potential future problem?

Erik, Got the harness and done! Another fine product. It appears this alleviates possible problems with the connector behind the tank as previously discussed in the forum as the shorter route and heavier wire appear to have lessened the resistance from the R/R connector to the connector to the stator. I would think this would also create less heat at the connection.
Thanks again for all that you do for the forum and SH owners

Cary thanks....
On a related note, for those that found damage to the stator male connector.. I have some of those on hand now as well.... So just ask when you order the RR kit and for aa few $ we can drop the connector in the box for you..It would require you to cut the old burned plug off and crimp on the new terminales ,, Of if your wiring and terminals are good, just the plastic housing is bad, broken lock, somewhat heat damaged, I can sell you just the plastic connector body

Is the reason for the 50 amp rating of the circuit breaker the 50 amp rating of the R/R? Would a 30 amp be sufficient?

Yes 30 amps is fine... I originally used a 50 as that what was being used in Maxi fuses at the time....
Book spec is 23 or so VDC max and I have tested enough VTR charging systems to feel a 30 amp circuit breaker is the best option.

Yes I still make these, though they have been changed since the one you see in the picture above. The Gen III shipping now is a plug and play design. No more soldiering wires
Shoot me an email at marquezmotorcycleservices@gmail.com and we will get you set up.

No. I've sent numerous emails, FB chats, and posts to multiple threads on this forum, and I've heard nothing back.

I hope everything is ok, and that we'll be able to purchase these kits soon.

Looks like E. hasn't been on here since Jan 30. Hope everything is OK. I'd say maybe he's been spending his time on the .ORG site, but I would think he would reply to PM's.

So Erik is fine and well. Just super busy, not much free time to do these kits. Best advice is to source the parts out and get your R/R from other outlets. Sorry folks, life happens.

Indeed life happens - go live it on a moto!

I forget where I got mine from

See it pays to write shyte down - I got mine 7 yrs ago from Eastern Beaver - not sure if they are still in business - Google is ur amigo.

Back to life - just heard some bad news - a friend just lost his brother - after losing his sister to ******* cancer 3 months ago. (these good folk were not old - under 60)

Keep family & friends close - ride your VTR & have ******* fun - there are no do overs...

Just for the record.... mbryanr's post was, in my opinion, disrespectful posted in Eriks thread. I'm full well aware Erik isn't around much BUT.. it's still his thread so if you have a website to sell something similar, post up your own thread. Easy peazy. I have zero issue with selling on this forum but do it on your own thread. Please and thank you.
