thanks for the reminder, lol In retrospect, I am quite confident those were victims of the faulty stator......

The only thing worse than pushstarting is doing it in subfreezing temps.

Been using them in my bike for years. Zero problems. Maybe something else is going on and it is not the battery's fault?
