Jetting is it worth it

I was thinking of jeting my 02 hawk all I have done to it is a bafflectomy but it does seem pretty lean. Would it be worth it to jet the bike? If so what jets do you guys think I should start with? Thanks guys ...

it depends. do you like learning about your bike? do you like practicing taking your tank, airbox, carbs off so many times you can do it in your sleep and begin to have your family time you do it, pitstop style? Do you enjoy frustration? If all that is yes, then definitely go for it.

seriously, if you haven't altered anything on the intake or exhaust side there probably isn't much to be gained, and potentially some loss. Not sure what you mean by it seems to run lean however. If it isn't running perfect, that is different.

I think you can get by with adjusting the mixture screws (this is like the 4th post today I've mentioned this ), shimming the needles .040" (small washers), and a good carb sync.
