Exhaust question

Here's the deal... I bought a set of 2Bros cans off ebay and hey came with the low mount midpipe. I currently have Micron High mounts installed.

Well, my non-thinking self realized that my high mount brackets won't work with the low mount 2bros... and I don't have the footpegs anymore.

So here's what I'm thinking... just replace the CANS only and use the Micron mid-pipes. I figure as long as everything fits together, there shouldn't be a problem.

Anyone have any thoughts that this definitely won't work? I don't want to even begin to attempt it if there's no chance it'll work... I'll just wait and get some rear pegs off ebay

If it all fits, you're fine.

My only thought is that the standard mount cans might be longer then the high mount cans. I know my Erion Racing cans are long! If thats the case you simly drill out the rivets at one end of the can, take the end cap off, then decide how long you want the new cans to be. Measure the can, then cut thru the outer canister and the inner core, fiberglass and all. When your done, slip the end back in and re-rivet and your done. Pretty easy to do, just messy cause of the fiberglass packing.
