929/954 swingarm swap?

Has anyone ever tried swaping the updated braced swingarm's of the Honda 929 or 954 onto the s.hawk? I've got a 929 swingarm sitting in the parts room here at work and without taking any measurments it looks like it would fit. Any Idea's? anyone tried this?

Im allready planning on a 929/954 front end swap but was thinking about doing the rear as well for something truley unique.

A guy here in Italy did it!
I have some pics of this bike.

The bike looks good, but i think that the 929 swingarm is too long. It will increase wheelbase too much.
IMHO it's worth only for the look, not for riding!!!!

Hey Riccardo could you post some pics? Do you know this guy well enough to ask what it took and how much longer it is? I put inverted fork frontend on my hawk so I've lost some of the wheelbase already. Maybe if it's not too long it'll just get me back to orig. length.

Unfortunately I don't know this guy.

I think it's too long.
I measured a 954 swing arm and, if I remeber correctly, it should be around 50 mm longer than VTR's one.
929 S.A. should be the same.

Wow that's long! It looks nice but looks a little too stretched out as well. Oh well thanks for the info anyway Riccardo.

Funny thing is it even has the single sided exhaust like I want as well. Any Idea how it runs like that or did you just look at it?

I haven't any idea about how this bike runs.
I've only seen those pictures.
