Hey Josh,

It will pretty much just bolt on. I am doing a hybrid RC/929 front end on my hawk right now. If you search the forums a little bit there are several threads with some very good pics on this topic. Icebud has a great article and pics from doing a 1000rr front end. Good Luck

For the most part yes it bolts up.
Issues:
Lock to lock steering will be decreased and will hit the faribracket mount instead of the actual "stop" areas.
Overall the 929/954 forks are shorter, so you'll be lowering the front.
The clipon height will be too low, you'll need to buy different clipons or adjust the fork height to compesate (this lowers the bike more).

KC is right, Icebud has a very good write up, I'd also search the RC51 swaps as many (including myself) are using 929 parts (triples) so you will gain info there as well.

Here is a thread about a front end conversion. I posted pictures of my swap and how I solved the handlebar problem. A 954/929 front end is usually cheaper than the RC51 front end and the 954/929 front wheel is 3 spoke like the Super Hawk's instead of the 6 spoker on the RC.
I like the handlebar position better than stock. My biggest complaint is the reduced steering lock; once or twice it has caught me out and I tipped the bike over while moving very slowly. That was early after the conversion--now I'm used to it and don't have a problem tipping the bike over, but it does make u-turns something you have to think about.

I have a 954rr front end on my bike and the only mod you will NEED to do is modifying the stock steering stop on the triples. As far as mods you SHOULD do, you will want different clip-ons and if you have it use the 929/954/rc51 master cylinder. As far as bumping hoses and fairings I don't know mine is a streetfighter. Good luck!
