I have always had a dash outlet for the gps or mp3, but realized that limits its use.

So I installed on in the givi topcase. Now I can put my phone, ipod etc in there and connect via bluetooth. Its rainproof and lockable so I can leave stuff in there to charge while I am off the bike too.

One of my most useful mods in a while.

Now if I can just install that solar battery charger on the givi too.

 

I was looking at buying one of these to give it a shot on my truck. Might work on the top of the Givi case?

Yeah I have that one. I use it on my truck. Dont figure I'll do it on the bike since it lives in my garage and I have a float charger mounted to the ceiling right above the bike.
