Repair or replace?

I dropped my SH in the garage, I know, and the only real damage was the left front fairing cracked right at the left turn signal. I say cracked, but it actually broke. Is this type of thing worth fixing and painting, or should I just replace it. I worry about matching the paint if I fix it and if it will still be strong enough to mount flush turn signals. Replacing cost just under 300, but it will be a color match. Thanks in advance for your input.

if the paint is not messed up too bad near the break, you could get clear 2 part epoxy and glue it back on. you can find it at any auto parts store for 3 or 4 bucks. get the one with the slowest cure time because the faster stuff heats up when curing and might damage the paint and plastic. somthing like 15-20 min should be fine

Same thing happened to mine when thou a crappy aspahlat parking lot and the blinker cracked my fairing. i expoyied it with a 2 part 45 min from dow thats made speciffically for
4 abs/pvc etc plastics worked great i taped the joint and waited till cured cant even see the crack unless i point it out and even then its hard and it has not came loose after numerous trips to 180 +

but YMMV

The color match shouldn't be a problem. I had to replace both of my fairings and they came from Honda painted perfectly. You can't tell they aren't the orignals.
