Name those pipes...

I was going to say R1 as well. Have you driven it yet? It could just be the camera angles, but there doesn't look like a lot of suspension travel.
Nice work though. How does it sound?

they are R1 pipes. yes. been driving it for about 2 years like this. there isnt a lot of travel so i just firmed up the suspension as much as i could stock and i dont take a rider. works just fin and im coming in at 200 pounds.
Was gonna put a SSS on but im selling BC im moving to aust. the swing arm would have lengthened the wheelbase and given waaaay more clearance i think.

Also did some cutting with the plastic under the seat. Fabricated a new undertail/heatshield and mounted the mufflers. To make a long story short.
Ps, R1 pipes are titanium. What a pain in the @$$. They can be welded, but its way to expensive. Much cheaper to simply cut and clamp.

Is there some sort of balance pipe between the headers? The front looks a lot longer than the rear. How does the bike go? It would seem to me that the rear cylinder will run pretty hot and the gas flows would be disrupted due to the loss of the pulse scavenging.

actually, ive had zero problems with the difference in the pipes. maybe bc theres very little back pressure, maybe just bc. i asked alot of the same questions to my mechanic before we started. in the end,i just know it workrd better than i expected.
