You have to love eBay. I bought this fuel cap cover for $0.30 including shipping. I might try to order some more to slap them on craigslist for $10 a piece.

It`s only great so long as the seller delivers the goods. I had won an auction on a set of (used) Mig high-mount slips-ons for the paltry sum of $1.00 a couple years back but the chap never sent them, instead making up a long convoluted story about how they had been stolen from his garage......

I would be careful about this, as this is obviously less then USPS stamp cost!
I can't see someone doing this on Ebay at a loss, defeats the purpose of Ebay sell!

True, but I would avoid buying anything from this seller, why would you think someone will spend time an effort to sell at a loss for a single item at such low amount of $? Who know's what's on their mind?

To shed some light on it the product is from China. Not sure what the exchange rate is exactly but I'm sure $0.30USD goes a little farther there. True it's just plastic made to look like carbon fiber but at the stealership these sell for $10-20 easy. I'm a cheap *** and it's only $0.30USD. I'll take a chance.

I got the same style zipper gaurd on eBay for $1 shipped. Probably the same seller. I got mine in 2 days from Hong Kong and I haven't had ant problems with it not sticking or fading.

Did any of you had experience getting fairing kit from China? How is the quality??? Also, how long took you to get it?

I honestly don't know why anyone would want this.

I wouldn't put it on my bike if someone gave it to me.

You buy these stickers for high traffic areas to keep it looking good longer. You touch the fuel cap the most so the paint wears off fast. I normally wouldn't put one of these on but my fuel cap is weathered and scratched. I don't like having that look when my paint is still in perfect condition. It's also cheaper than buying a new cap for about $40.00USD. The next one I'm going to try to get is for the triple tree. My keys have scratched the crap out of it. This will help restore it's good looks and protect it more in the future.

That's good to hear. As sad as it is to say I haven't had any problems with the products I've ordered from China. They are well built (for the price) long lasting items. The best one I have is still the $2.99USD third eye 4x3 LED array.
