Had my tank repainted.

Spilled some gas on it when I pulled it off to do the carbs and pair removal. Had a bunch of scuffs too so I said what the heck.

Most of you wanted to see the lower on the bike with everything else on the bike, so I snapped some pictures with the tank sitting in its place.

You might not say anything about the sheets, but I will!

The bike is looking good though, keep it up.

Haha. Thats 1% of the junk. Thats an 83' Honda sabre on the deck, there are 3 more just 10 feet away from the last picture next to the garage. One more in the back yard. Theres an 84' Magna and 79' CB 550 under the tarp in the back yard. A 70' something CB500 in the basement, along with a 60' something Honda 50 mopedish thing.. Oh yeh and my 82' silverwing in the garage. I think thats all.

My dad is a Sabre freak. He had one when he was younger and since he is a mechanic he bought a bunch of junk ones and is fixing his and my older brothers up.

That's almost as pretty as my Hawk, which is nearly identical and very yellow.

nice looking bike. those decals are pretty awesome. nice and simple. it will look even better once you get the real one's on the gas tank. how much did it cost you to get it painted?

Good job, did you do it yourself and if you did what was the process. I was planning on painting my bike, but don't know where to start.

Does the tank actually match the rest of the bike in real life in the sun?
Used Honda paint?
