Ooohhhh purdy bikes. I have a couple of photos with minor updates...
Sans frame sliders, plus tank pad, cleaner looking bar-end mirrors, 42T Supersprox rear sprocket.
and the hoo-aaaa! pic:
Sparxx... that is one helluva good looking machine

These are all very nice examples of well sorted VTR's but my vote goes to the lifelong project with no end in sight... Mikstr.
It's just a well sorted, beautiful VTR.... an ongoing project that has as much blood sweat and tears into it as it does sweet aftermarket parts, one-off mods and hard earned cash! KUDOS Mikstr!

I take a great deal of pride in what I have accomplished with my VTR, as I am sure all the others in the running (indeed most members here) do also.
As you have alluded to, it is an on-going project (OCMD remember, lol) and has evolved some more since the pic was taken last spring, notably with the removal of the EBC race rotors and their replacement with Braketech Axis Cobra rotors (with black carriers), the removal of some red bling bits (and replacement with either black or blue stuff), the removal of some stickers (part of my "going stealth" campaign) and the replacement of the front signals with flush-mount LEDs (set to strobe). Internally, the cams have been re-timed and tappets have been replaced with DLC-coated units (end result is a freeer-spinning mill with a more muscular mid-range). I also toyed with an Ignitech programmable ignition unit but couldn't make it work (yet!). MY objective (realisable based on what I feel in the saddle) is to break the magical (for me) 130 bhp and 80 lb-ft barriers.
Good luck to all participants on jobs well done
cheers

Guys,
A buddy of mine made me the sticker after he saw my bike on Superhawk.Forum. I'll see if I can get him to make a similar one for the VTROY winner.
mikstr-Post some current pics, I'd love to see them.
Too bad PappySmears and hawkster didn't get their bikes entered, maybe next year. Those two Shawks are awesome.

Firedog55 your bike amazes me at how clean it is every time I see those pics. It's also just a great looking bike with tasteful upgrades. I just about started to vote for you, and then I started to wonder if you even ride that bike?! Haha!

tough call
sparxx, your creation is very nice, kinda resembles the Benelli TNTs headlight and side wings.
The 2011 Benelli TnT R160 - 2011 Benelli TnT R160 Naked Bike Now Available in the US - autoevolution
tough field this year with so many great hawks. I hate to have to vote for a particular one because everyone is a winner its own different way. Milkster and firedog(wow-could eat off this) bikes are the epitome of tasteful upgrades, moore and sparxx have created beautiful nakeds (except fro that big dirty footprint on moore's seat), and inde and hawk bikes are master pieces of embellishment.
These sterling examples are testament to the strong and lasting appeal of this great motorcycle.

I wanted to vote for Mikstr, but then I saw Sparxx. How the hell did I miss that this year? All of these bikes are great, but I had to give Sparxx my vote. Great job you guys. You give me motivation on what to do to my bike. Thanks
