Good day on the twisties. Got the tires scrubbed in quite well.
Suspension is not dailed in yet. I set the rear too stiff and got bounced a bit on the uneven pavement. The torque was nice. Especially since my regular ride is a Yamaha FZR-R4. I can see how it likes to chew up the rear tire.
I need to jet the carbs. After installing the Yoshimura cans the VTR likes to spit at < 3k RPM. Any tips from you experienced folks. Can I just adjust the needle height?
Overall I like the bike. It will make a great traveler and work horse. (btw...i got 35 mpg on my last tank).

You won't get much adjustment on that stock shock... it's notorious for being too stiff.
