Wife wants another bike...sigh

So she's not happy with both her VFR and her GB500...now that I have the SH, she also wants an 07 white/silver CBR600RR to put in the garage with them...see what I have to put up with?...

Nice Bike & tell the wifie to get a job and buy her own bike...LOL

Seriously, it would be cool to own 4 bikes, but if your wife has 3 and you only have 1 you can go shopping too my friend!

Well, there is also my ST1300, so its actually 2 bikes apiece right now...she's rationalizing that since the GB is kind of a collector's bike, it doesn't really count as her sport bike...oh well....

Look at it this way, she won't have to buy new leathers too! LOL

Seriously, what doesn't she like about the VFR? Weight? If so, the 600 is a slam-dunk. Have you seen a SH in white? Very nice.

who's bitchin?....Most men have to buy their wives diamonds and such. I just have to buy mine carbon fiber. If she would just quit crashing race bikes at Road Atlanta, I'd be happy! (she low-sided an SV650 at Turn 5 last year, doing about 60-70mph. Fortunately it was one of Freddy Spencer's SVs...)

Sorry Lazn, won't trade her, already have a SH. Now if you just had a Duc 1098....

I'll take both the VFR and the GB for my wife.

I would love to own a GB500, those are sweet little bikes.

And rare.

She loves her VFR. She just wants the CBR as a go-fast toy...who am I to say no...

Oh and for those who asked...a pic of her GB..mods:
XR600 top end
WORKS rear air shocks
Showa front shocks
braided lines
D.I.D. race rims
custom front fairing (brownie points for anyone who can identify the origin of the fairing :-)

Its absolutely immaculate, shines like new and she's got a few trophies for it.

Correct. The fairing is stock OEM (minus the added pinstriping to match the bike)..

If she loves her VFR and she wants a "go-fast" toy, you should find her a '98 - 01 VFR.

The '97 that I have is the just a hoot to ride. After these years the VFR got real heavy. If she likes her VFR and wants a little sportier ride - find her an older one and start stripping all the bullshit off.

Open up the exhaust a little and turn her loose on the track. If she doesn't come back smiling and huggy - I missed my bet - but I don't think I will!

It's great to have such an enthusiastic partner about the sport. Be careful - be careful with each other - the rest will take care of itself. Happy trails!

Thanks. Yeh, We're talking about spending some more time at the track. If so, we're going to search out a pair of (not too trashed out) track bikes here in the near future. I've got a little space left in the 3rd garage stall, next to the lawn mower....I think...

BTW, to tell you how dedicated she is...she's been known to lay on her back on the garage floor, under the VFR with a toothbrush in hand...we just put on her new rear carbon fiber hugger today, and she was busy waxing the inside of the rear wheel spokes while the tire was off...and she's not a poser on it either. We rode Tampa, FL to Monterey, CA and back this summer for the MotoGP races. She did over 7000 miles in 18 days (with 3 days off for the races) on her VFR, including a couple of 700+ mile days (did I mention we are both IBA members?..). My girl can ride!

Damn! So close! Actually its an R90S fairing...it fits right on the GB without any mods at all, other than a couple of very small brackets for attachment points on the inside. It looks like its stock on the bike. Brownie points awarded!
