Finally put on the Genmar risers that I picked up here in the classifieds a while back. Makes a big difference considering it's only like 3/4" rise/pullback. Along with my lowered Buell pegs the bike is much more comfortable than stock. Biggest surprise benefit, I generally use a big tall/wide tank bag, with the rised bars the bike is a LOT easier to get on and off.

Removed my exhaust header and packed it up, shipping it to: NitroPlate for a shiny silver coating. While i had them off I ground down the welds (like an XR header mod).
Also gonna pull off the fender eliminator kit and have it powdercoated black

tonight i drove from lutsen mn to ely mn on MN hwy 1 cutting through state forest mostly, it is extremely fun with a good amount of twisties posted at 25 and 30 mph... broke in the new tire tonight starting off slow but im happy to announce the chicken strips are already gone and my carhartts have a couple scuffs on the knees
