Time to sell a hawk!

Time to sell a hawk!
So after many years of having 2 superhawks Its time to let one go so I can replace it with a dirtbike to ride with my 5yr old son. I don't have garage space for both. It is actually emotionally moving since I have owned a VTR for many years. I did countless hours of work on it including a motor swap, CBR dash upgrade and cbr fuel float grafted into the tank.
Anyway I am opting to keep the single sided bike with way less miles and Mario Nava bodywork & CBR1000 forks. I now have to graft the CBR dash, temp sender and float into that bike as well as a givi setup. May start with a monorack instead of the triple bagger which I rarely use these days.
Yesterday I spooned a race takeoff Dunlop Q3 on the rear and put a 90 degree valve stem.
Its really dumb but it is strange to sell a bike that's been with you so long.

I regret selling every bike I spent a lot of time personalizing/modding. I always came down to available garage space and the reality of maintaining a fleet of bikes. But, buying a dirt bike to ride with your 5year is definitely the right reason to sell ... time to make some new memories.

Hey Joe,
I lost count of how many times I sold a bike to do something with the kids.
Sometimes I regretted it however the memories with the kids are irreplaceable .
Keep the single sider and mod it for your use.
