Pilot Power 2CTeeez

Just got back from breaking in the new Power dual ply's... Those things are awesome. When I bought my hawk it had Metzler road-somethings on it and they were atrocious. Now I finally feel like im on a sport bike again. Handling is much lighter, grip is phenomenal.

If you're in the market for rubber, pilot power 2cts will make you smile

Talking

Last season I got a set of Metzeler Z6. Awesome so far....

The Conti's wore so damn quick, other than that, they had excellent grip.

We're getting really high marks on these too. Although I will prob go with a set of Powers for the Superhawk (they have been awesome) but the Interceptor is definitely going dual compound on the next change.

swordfish is an unknown quantity at this point
the 2ct's are the best tires I've ever had. I don't expect this every time, but these tires have seen 2 trackdays over 2 seasons and still have plenty of meat on them. I'm swapping them out before my track day this year just because they have been through so many heat cycles. but damn. got more than I expected out of them that's for sure. and they never stepped out on me once.

For me the 2CTs are overkill. I can't justify the extra $30-40 per tire for performance that I'll never use. I just got back from a track day and was dragging pegs and boots on the 1000RR using regular Powers. I never had one slip or slide of the rear. The front felt like it was going to tuck a few times but that was because I made a dumb suspension adjustment. If you're on a budget the regular Powers should do it for you.
