New Superhawk/Firestorm owner

Hello all, I found this forum a couple of weeks ago. It sure are a lot of good stuff here.

I'd already decided that the firestorm (I'm from Sweden so it's called firestorm) would be my next bike, and this friday I picked up a 2001 year firestorm in dark blue (Here they have 19litre tank as well). High mounted LeoVince is ordered and will be mounted as soon as they arrive. Then I'll just have to wait for spring to arrive since it's a little bit of snow here and to cold to ride anyway.

Very well, I was just saying hello...

Welcome to the forum - I could use a 19L tank in red I'm sure others would like the bigger ones over here in the US as well.

Enjoy your new bike and ride safe!

Thank you guys! I'm sure I'm gonna love the bike. Just seem to be so long before spring arrives.
I really don't understand why the bigger tank got to the US, kind of strange. Although the gas here is about $1,40 so you don't wanna fill her up to often =)

$1.40 per liter? $1.40 euros? about what's the exchange rate. just curious. regular 87 octane is around $2.12US in my area.

Welcome aboard. Love that blue color. Good choice on the Leo's, I love 'em. Make sure to post some new pics when you mount them. I'm sure they'll really make it look nice.

Right, but we're paying ~$2 for a GALLON. Their price is per liter. Huge difference.

Correct, that is ~$5.3US/gallon, and regular here is 95 octane RON. Regarding the exchange rate, we do not have euros in sweden, but 1US$ is about 7.20 SEK, and 1€ is about 9,3SEK (Swedish krona).

Thanks for the welcoming, I will post more pictures when the Leos arrives.

I'll see if I have the time to go to the garage and mount the Leos, unfortunatly it's about 0°C here, and if I mount them I have to take it for a testride. First I have to get some food though, then maybe...

I'm kind of worried that they sound to much though. On the video it sounds real cool, but it sounds much more when driving. I usually never wear earplugs, but I think I have to start with that now. Also it tends to shoots some exhaust bangs when going of the throttle.
