New SH owner in Seattle.

Just bought my first Superhawk a few weeks ago. I've been lingering and reading up on stuff.

My bike is a '98 model with 28,000 miles on. PO replaced regulator with a mosfet unit. There are also manual CCT's installed. Bafflectomy. Buell turn signals. Other than that, pretty much stock. First order of business before I really get into riding it is to replace all the fluids and give it a good once over. I've put a few miles on it to and from work a few days, but the weather is lousy here now so it's mostly been sitting until I can get around to changing all the fluids.

I'll most likely be going naked with this bike. I know most of the purists will hate me for it, but it fits my style a little better. I have a headlight assembly on the way from Europe. The plastics will likely be in the classifieds section soon for sale.

I love the torque of the motor. Bike rides great. I will need to address the front suspension. It's a little loose for my size.

Are you trying to speed up your Hawk with the addition of some red bits?

Will do. I appreciate that. I'm new to these bikes and appreciate any helping hands.

I have a replacement headlight coming in. As soon as I have that in, I'll pull off the body and inspect for any damage. I'll shoot you prices then.
