SEATTLE,SEATTLE,SEATTLE!!!...lets do a ride!!!

Ok...so I have been inspired by the wonderful weather as of late in the great state of Washington to try and plan a late march get together...I am not sure where yet or when concretely yet but possibly meet in Seattle then ride up to Bellingham via hwy 9 and chuckanut? there is a great all you can eat fish and chips joint up there!...

Ideally we would do this like 3 weeks out to give the folks who don't visit the board as much time to get on board with this ride...possibly the 31st of march?

I know there are quite a few western WA folk on here I can call out...and it would be rad to meet yall in person and see a whole crew of shawks rollin down the road

a list of WA guys

nineighthawk
ronvtr
soopahok996
josh
tophyr
seattlesucks
mrjakeanderson
vincent
mithrandir(if his fighter is up and going)

anyway if any one who is down knows any other hawks that are on this board personally then shoot em an email...this has been tried before so let make it work

P.S...all you Vancouver folks up there in Canada should show up too! B-ham isn't that far off for ya! haha

so here is a pic of the ride I have in my mind...follow the route up and for time and convenience issues we can slab it back down I-5 and disperse as needed...the total trip should be about 180 miles from seattle up using the back roads and bellingham down using I-5

I should be all back together by three weeks. F slabbin it back down I-5 tho, lets just take more backroads - worst case we just run the same route, backwards

myself and a few buddies are doing a trip the week before motogp in july, going from lugana seca area (central CA) to vancouver, might need to meet up with some seattle guys and find some good twisties up there for the day, I'm sure you could point me in the right direction

just as Tophyr states...we will hook you up AC...haha

as for not slabbin it I was just suggesting it for convenience it cuts the time in half...

the roads should be clearer in a few weeks too...I heard a report on chuckanut and it supposedly is rather clean...dont know about hwy 9 though

Unfortunately Saturdays are out of the question for me. My Sundays are open for playing.
After the end of June my Saturdays will open up.

Oh.. I believe the seattlesucks guy crashed his hawk and bought a VFR. So, you can take him off the list.

Weather

The extended forecast looks good for that day. Looks like rain or showers up until just before. Or is this going to happen rain or shine?

I think we would be better served to do this in some sun...possibly push it out a week if it still looks bad in a few days?

here is the forecast
