new member question

Hello,

I owned a 1999 (black) superhawk a while back and loved it and wish I had never got rid of it for my BMW GS (although it has been a great bike too). I am now wanting to get another one. Are there any sugestions as to what years are best. I know the superhawk never changes all that much (insturments, colors, ect.) and I was happy with my 99 so do you basically just pick the year by color preference and go for it or are there years that are better.
Thanks and I hope to have a bike soon so I can participate in the forums as more than a spectator!

The only advantage of the later years is the instrument cluster. These models have a clock and a gas gauge instead of the red light and a sun dial!
