My new bike

DUDE!
I've always wanted that exact same bike followed closely by the black/silver/red version. Classic Honda! Have fun keeping those wheels clean (BTDT).
Is that a band-aid by the right mirror? I like your "quick release" fuel cap.

Hahaha, good catch on the bandaid! There's a minor crack there that has been welded, but not painted yet. My doctor-buddy thought it'd be funny to put a bandaid there. Just wait til I sue his *** for malpractice.
The torque doesn't shoot you forward like the Superhawk does. Instead, the speed just builds and builds until you look down and realize you're doing highly illegal speeds.

Wow, my first bike ('91-'93) was a '73 CB500 four... unfortunately the 4 tip exhaust was long gone when I bought it for $50... Got it to run good and passed my mc road test on it. Gave it to a former co-worker when an '84 VT500 Ascot (v-twin shaft drive) came along.

Nice bike. Swap that front wheel for a 17 incher and it'll be a lot more stable and tire selection won't be limited.
Speaking of old bikes, I'm going to look at a project 1979 Yamaha XS750 Triple tomorrow morning. May buy it just to have something to keep me sane over this long winter.

Funny you mention the 17" front. I had a spare 17 front that I sold to a buddy with a 900RR. Otherwise, I'd have one now...
But, from what he tells me, the F3 front wheel is just a little bit too wide at the axles, so the speedometer cable won't fit. Instead, one would have to use spacers to fill in the gaps. Which is fine for trackdays, since I don't use my speedo, but we'll see what the eBay-fairy has for sale.
