I'm back!!
So, as most of you may remember, Yellow Terror had a failed front ACCT last Xmas. After a bit of fiddling and checking, it was deemed a little too expensive to get her fixed.
The search began................
I have now just purchased, pick it up on Tuesday, a great 2002 BLUE Firestorm!! 40,000 klm on the clock.
But the best bit, it has so many goodies.
MCCT's, Rectifiier, R1 throttle mod, DMR shock, CBR600 stick coils, Moriawaki bits, dyno tuned, highrise staintunes....................list goes on.
And to top it all off, out of a city of 4.5 million people the guy I have bought it off I played soccer with 20 odd years ago!! I didn't realise at the time, until I met him to look at the bike. So added peace of mind.
On top of all of this, he's actually had a look at Yellow Terror, and is going to take is at part payment, then go through and fix her up. Once we get her fixed, and rego'd we will sell her, with profits split 60/40 his way!!
Reason is he will be doing most of the work, he is also a mechanic by trade, I'm just going to help with buying bits and anything else that needs doing.
So big win in my books, and from my perspective. It been a long 10 months without a Hawk, and I am so happy to be back in amongst it.
Will post pics when I can.
