Hi - greetings from newish member
Actually, I've been here for more than a year, but I haven't properly introduced myself. I've ridden/owned bikes since I was 16, more than 30 years ago. I got the VTR two years ago (graduated from a Yamaha XZ550 - that's the Vision in the US) - one po (older than me, his new toy is a 64 Mustang convertible), approx 35k km. I'm in Oslo, Norway; right now it's 15 degrees below zero celcius, very much off-season.
The bike has a few mods, most of which are listed below. USD fork would be nice, as would ... well, we'll see what my wallet and wife allow
Pic shows your truly at Rudskogen racetrack. I'm definitely not a racer, but every spring, the bike group at work organize a meet to limber up for the riding season.
So far, I've really enjoyed being here - the amount of knowledge you guys have is incredible. Thanks for the inspiration and shared pleasure!
