and wow. First off. Gixxer 750 r/r works great. Wired it up yesterday after waiting what seems like forever. Worked great once I replaced my 30amp fuse cause I'm a retard. (didn't disconnect the battery at first and connect the positive and negative by accident heh). Mounted it using some heavy duty doubly sided tape for now and works great. I didn't see exactly what voltages I was getting but was like 13.7 at idle instead of what I had been getting before which was 12.7 (aka battery voltage lol). First thing I noticed on a shake down run was the bike felt stronger. I had kind've limped it around for a few weeks to and from class cause I was disapointed that I hadn't been able to ride since buying it.) It's definetely stronger though cause i accidently did a little wheelie in the parking lot on the way home.
ANYWAYS!!! Today ended up being awesome weather and besides my ipod shutting off a lot early due to the cold (even though I had it under all my layers...) and later the batteries dieing about 40 miles from home. it was pretty uneventful. The superchicken was getting about 45 mpg too cruising in 6th at about 85-90 the whole way. Got a bunch of thumbs of from guys and one guy said he thought a helicopter was near All in all Road trips rule. Though... I'm not sure I'd wanna ride much farther in one day. My left forearm hurts a little because the clutch is heavy... But the ergos were just fine. Even with carrying a relatively large backpack.
Basically... I love my superhawk
