I had the honor of a friend request on here. What the flip is that all about ? Nice of him, but I really don't see the point.

What is the + / - of "friending" someone on here ?

I am old and basically computer challenged, our computers had punch cards in my HS, so what's the scoop ?

I tend to "friend" with people I have met face to face, although there are a couple I have on my list because either they where very helpful or I had been exchanging a good number of PM's.

To answer your question friending does nothing, although it can make sending a PM a little easier at times.
