I'll save you the trouble. I got a set of pass peg arms that have been drilled and led's installed just as you describe. I have never installed them and they are still in the box.

Nice bike!

fire rescue-
How do you like the contiforce? I have run the dunlop 208s (hate), two sets of contiroads (like them very much), conti sport (liked them just as much or more than the roads), and will be giving the dunlop roadsmarts a run. My buddy has the contimotion, which has been great on wear, wet, but not great on heavy engine braking. just wondering...

one problem with me knowing if I like them overall yet, I haven't even had the motorcycle a month yet... lol. So far I like the wet handling, and they seem to hold up to my engine braking pretty well, occasionally I can feel the rear slip out a bit from it. other than that holds up well

Naw, this weekend is set. We're talking about another run. I did pull one of them out of the box and hook it to an old VTR battery that I have and it does look pretty cool. I'll try to get down there yet this evening to get some pix so you can see them. That way you'll know what I have so we can discuss. I didn't use them because I didn't like the widestance look of the peg extenders with the hi-mount Jardines. When I decided to make the VTR a rider's bike that's when I started shopping for a VFR. I tell people that I bought a new set of pegs for the Superhawk - they just happened to come with a VFR attached.

Nice hawks! I like the mig pipes on the yellow one. I've always liked that pipe set-up.

hmm... a bit different than the setup I was going for, but VERY similar. I would definitely like to see those in action. I was actually going to do a slightly different setup with mine... they were going to have 10 LED's facing rear, and 5 facing directly to the sides for maximum visibility. Did you make these Doug?

I noticed while taking pictures of the SH, that the places I have shown in the picture above have the most visibility to the rear of the bike, so that coupled with the direct right and left sides of the peg holders seems to make most of the LED's

That's cool. We'll chat tomorrow. The only prob I could see with drilling that many holes in the arm is whether it would tolerate a passenger loading up without breaking. See you tomorrow! Y'all be careful!
