Been waiting to get my hands a on a Superhawk since they first came out and last week I finally pulled the trigger on this 98' I picked up locally (Sacramento).
Been lurking on this forum for the past year and it feels really good to be able to participate lol

Congrats on finally getting what you've wanted for so long. Your life just got way better!

 

It has a penske rear shock that appears to be pretty adjustable. Two brothers racing slip ons (loud as *uck btw) some kind of stainless braided brake lines up front. I'm pretty sure it has different springs in the forks because the other Superhawk I rode seemed to be softer up front which is good because I'm about 215 pounds. I paid 3100.00.

I know it sounds corny but getting this bike has been a goal of mine for some time. It is almost like a dream come true. The voltage regulator died on me Sunday but it hasn't stopped me from polishing and waxing it and as a matter of fact I think I'm going to bleed the brakes and clutch tonight. I'm in love lol

 

get the RR with the heat fins. its the updated version. it won't die so easily.
