Talking I can buy an exhaust system finally!

Well the boss gave me permission to buy a set of Jardines high mounts! Other than a-z powersellers....where else can I look for a great deal on Jardines high mounts?

Eeaassy, boy. Don't get too excited. Don't want to give the boss too much power you know! Oh, any pointers on getting my boss to agree to exhaust? I've already dropped the 'now the the 'Hawk's out of production the aftermarket will stop making parts gotta buy soon' hint. Silence...crickets...silence...

How I got the boss to say yes.....

It took some time, and a promise to do dishes for the next 9 months......maybe not such a good deal for him, but definately a great deal for me....

Sherri...his boss

Note to self!

Don't let the boss see the forum up on the computer.....turn off or minimise the screen. Well....She is a great boss and I can't complain. As for the last reply she snuck in .....it's true....but we have a dish washer!

You are aware that automatic dishwashers cost less than slip-on exhaust, right?

The deal is to put the dishes in the washer and clean the counter and sink....really easy...I just don't like to do it! The things you will do for some cool exhaust!

Well I see your list of mods are all relatively low cost so I won't feel too bad.
I haven't spent a whole lot-see, I'm a good boy!-myself; Pilot Power tires, frame sliders, used tinted windshield, brake and clutch lines, tank bra, washers on shock to raise rear end, holes drilled in mufflers, six pot calipers for $20, 2003 YZF600R for the boss, alarm system...uh, did I just say a Yamaha for the boss? Damn! No, I mean Great! good boy! here's a biscuit! uh, gotta go

Dishes, bullshit! You bribe a pregnant woman with chocolate and pickles! I wanna see what promises Marm makes - he bought an exhaust system too. It just so happens to come with the rest of the motorcycle as well!

Believe me....it could have been worse! Or even the big NO! The way I look at it is...Yes she is pregnant but I would have to do this in a few months anyway. You know the old saying "If Mama is happy, everyone is happy!"

Can't wait for the system to get here.

Talking exhaust system is IN!

UPS just dropped them off and WOW they are awesome! Also got my new levers in today too! I will put it all together this sunday when I get my last item in (my bleeder banjo bolt for the master cylinder) from cycle gear.
1- put on new exhaust (Jardine round black race core highmounts)
2-put on new muzzy brake lines and new bleeder bolt.
3- put on new black RC 51 levers.

Pics will follow!
