A compleate waste of money

I never do anything on a motor vehicle "just" for looks... and as I do not NEED new rad hoses.. this is a complete waste of money... never the less.....http://www.oppracing.com/show_produc...1997-2005-red/

I shall do so anyway and call it Service repair parts.. After all.. my hose’s are OEM and quite old now.. June of 1997 at least as that is the bike manufacture date.. So they "should" be replaced for reliability ,,,,,right????

This will be the third set of SAMCO silicone hoses I have bought.. Quality is very good.. so as long as fit for the VTR is correct... I have no concerns at all with this company and its product.

As soon as I get my cast off and finish a motor build.. I'll get paid for that job and have some play cash available.. Once I do,,,, I’ll post up picks for sure.. Hopefully a few weeks at most.

sounds like a bunch of bull **** to me, and since you're living in the lone star state, the likelihood is even higher...haha.

I suppose that Powerbronze undertail you're proudly advertising in your signature is not "just for looks", but purely functional.

I gave these a long hard look as I plan to replace all of my rad hoses during the engine rebuild. Give the price of the Samco kit, together with the excellent condition of the OEM hoses on my 99 (11 years and 85,000 miles later), I have opted to replace them all with OEM (much less $$$$).

They do look good though......

The stock chin fairing was damaged.. I replaced an OEM damaged part with an aftermarket part.. which copst me less then the OEM fairing wold have.
Very common process, and not done “JUST” for looks. So bite me

From the SAMCO website: "Permanently staffed laboratory (unique within the performance hose world) specifically set up for the testing & development of silicone hose." Anyone else think that's some . Prolly just the backyard of someones house. Still interesting though, Marquez stop lolligagging and get some dang hoses so we can all see what they look like.

hahaha ............ the chin fairing is mainly there for looks. And you added that beautiful full bottom fairing to replace it? And you never do anything just for looks. You better quit while your behind.

you're right and i'm rootin for em too. The yanks have already won way way way more than their share. Evidently some of their fans feel the same way judging by how they were taking fly ***** out of their hands. hahaha Molina knocked that sum bitch right out of there and with a high degree of authority.

I think most people outside of NY are sick of the Yankees. Hell, even their fans leave the stadium in the 7th inning.

That was funny, fat guy made them pay!

Installed Samco hoses (blue) last winter, & really satisfied with fit & looks. O & M hoses were still in fair shape, but why take chances of a blown hose on a ride. It's called preventive maintenance. I've been in the generator buisness for over 30 yrs. & it's an industry standard to replace factory hoses with silicone hoses. Some of you nay sayers out there, think it's BS on thier claim that silicone hoses will run cooler, well i know for a fact that on my bike temp dropped a good 10 to 15 degrees. I've also seen this time & again on generators. Besides they just look good.
