Cleaning outside of engine

Does anyone have any product that they can recommend to clean the motor and parts on my hawk? I blue a fork seal out and the oil leaked all over the front of the motor. Looking for something to spay on and it will clean?

Any ideas or suggestions would be great.

You're safe. And if you wish to do a real engine wash, go down to your favorite automotive store, and you can buy a can of engine wash for a few bucks.

Super Clean works great! Brake/contact cleaner won't hurt anything, you're riding a Honda. If you had a Triumph I'd say steer clear of chemicals as it'll peel their crappy paint they use.

Like anything you clean start more mild and work your way up. Simple green is good stuff. Wesley's bleche white (that's how they spell it) is a bit stronger and is a great degreaser. Either of those, an old tooth brush, and a hose will do the job. Obviously when you're less concerned about what's underneath brake cleaner, carb cleaner, etc will clean it off if it's going to come off. But even those aren't going to damage the finish on your engine.

8541Hawk will become famous soon enough
It's just fork oil, dawn( or any dish soap) and some warm water will clean it right off also.....

Love the S100 products, but a lot more expensive than those mentioned above for sure...
