Another new owner
hey all, just picked up a 98' superbird with 15k on it the other day. im coming off a gsxr 750, the v twin is quite different. i did notice the other day while riding that 6th gear was kinda useless. am i correct? it comes with 2bros slip on, K&N filter, factory pro jet kit, galfer wave rotors, steel braided lines, APE mccts and TBR adjustable clip ons?

Nice looking bike. The Super Hawk has an overdrive 6th gear that's pretty much only good for droning on the freeway (with stock gearing).

Welcome to the forum, lots of fun to be had here.

6th gear is useful. It keeps the other 5 from rattling around the gear box.
