Another new member saying hello
Just wanted to say hello and introduce my bike. I pick-up my nephew's 1998 superhawk with 18,000 miles. He had a minor incident and put the bike down. He had it fixed but had stopped riding it back in 2005.
I bought it off him, and I have changed all the fluids, treated the rust in the fuel tank, cleaned the carbs, ss brakelines and new pads. So far it runs great.

I have been off bikes for about ten years, so it is fun to get back to riding again.

Thank you to everyone for all of the usefully information on this site.
This weekend I will be installing APE CCTs.

More complete list of modifications: proton flushmounts, bafflectomy, t-rex frame sliders, new front ss brake lines, EBC HH pads, eastern beaver relay system. APE CCTs,
