Another from FL

Just wanted to introduce myself and my 'Hawk. I'm Andrew and this would be my second daily ridden street bike that I've owned. I've been around bikes all my life and riding since I was 5, worked in a dealership for 7 years right out of highschool, and then opened my own shop that's been going for about 6 years now. The 'Hawk had the basic bafflectomy, fenderectomy, and finned R/R when I bought it, as well as a Givi touring windscreen, which I honestly like even though it looks kind of goofy. After a few good rides on it and getting a feel for it, I've added flushmount front signals (K&S Mid-size flushmounts), Integrated LED rear taillight, Custom Dynamics LED flasher relay, RaceTech .95kg front springs, new fork seals, 10w oil, shimmed rear shock ~4mm, Factory pro Stage 1 Ti jet kit, TPS sensor adjusted, PAIR removed, Shinko Verge tires, Krieger MCCT's (not installed yet), F4i Front calipers (waiting to arrive), and misc little personal touches. So enough chatter, here she is....

Located a hair South of Sarasota/Venice area, about an hours ride South of Tampa if you keep pace with traffic.

Haha, so I've read The windscreen has grown on me, I wasn't sure at first, but it has definitely since then. Being that I ride mostly highway during the week to and from work, it helps with the commute for sure.

All for it. I have a small hiccup to take care of @ 3500 - 4k cruise, then check over jetting again. The new vacuum slide I just got in should cure most of that over the next few days, as well as give me time to install the preventative maintenance MCCT's. I got word there was an event up @ the Quaker Steak in St. Pete that I might ride up to with some people.

Noted. I think I'll save from posting a "build" thread as I'm trying not to touch the engine much, save for preventative maintenance and simple bolt-ons. I suppose you could think OEM plus. Functional upgrades, that don't need drastic changes as much as I have OCMD. I've only done the little mods with the suspension because I only have maybe 6 months of street riding under my belt and I have yet to use it fully where I need more, maybe 2 months alone on the 'Hawk, with less than a month before finally setting up the suspension for my weight and where it worked for me instead of against me. I would love to do a track day or a few up @ Jennings just to get some aggressive seat time in, going to lose some weight first though, lol.

You're doomed. OCMD with this bike will catch you in a month or two, no matter how hard you fight it...

And that windscreen is nuts. You could shield a human baby in there!

Trust me, I'm fighting myself to tear it down to pull the frame and swingarm to black them out after doing the forks, but I'm having too much fun riding it right now to do that

Without your help I wouldn't have had a baseline to start with on my carbs, so thanks to your OCMD

MCCT's installed, carb slide replaced, carbs resynched, and my frame sliders came in while I was working on it, so those went on as well. Good thing cause it was raining this morning.
