I hear all sorts of things in this wonderfully liberal bastion of America (Portland, OR), but it's all moot after that...Wow, chills are right, those girls are just amazing!

That was lump in the throat excellent. The Stars Spangled Banner is the greatest fighting song, and that is exactly what it is, ever written. If you love our country and want to keep it, I suggest you be fully stocked up on guns and ammo.

John McCain? I wish the answer was that simple. Juan McAmnesty's "Hispanic outreach" director is Juan Hernandez, from the George Soros funded Reform Institute.

Juan Hernandez is a Mexican national, formerly employed by Vincente Fox. His motto for Mexican Americans, even eigth generation Americans of Mexican descent is "Think Mexico First".

What kind of American piece of **** traitor would employ a guy who's motto is "think Mexico first"?

RK1, you keep saying the things I refrain from saying here.
Don't forget his (McCain's) assault on the 1st amendment--McCain-Feingold Campaign Finance Reform, or his involvement in the Charles Keating S&L scandal, accepting bribe money for political influence. Sure, he gave the money back, but only after he had been found out and investigated for it. If there is any piece of sovereignty sapping, socialistic legislation up for a vote you can bet McCain's name will be attached to it.

He's a sellout traitor, and, quite unfortunately, no better than the other CFR scum (take your pick) running for president as Democrats. No matter who wins this Fall, the USA loses.

I agree, not matter what this time around, it's gonna suck...

The only thing I am sure of is that I aint voting for Billary, nor Bama...

As much as I don't care for McCan't, I am going with him this go round..

God Help us ALL!!

I agree and it's not the only election where you're voting for the lesser of alternative evils.

They all suck!

None of them are trustworthy.

As I've said in the past, the Clintons are a national disgrace rather than the exaulted politicians they make themselves out to be.

Yeah well, I guess I can't help myself. I'd rather post about bikes and riding, but if somebody starts a thread about our country and its politics, I'll tell you what I see.

I've lived in L.A., ground zero for the welfare subsidized cheap labor wetback invasion, for over 20 years. If we can't do better than Juan McAmnesty, it's coming soon to your state-county-town. If you're a real American, you're not going to like it at all.

Why do we even know who McCain is? 'Cause he's built his entire public persona sucking up to the New York Times, Washington Post etc. by bashing America first conservatives with the certain knowledge that it will get him front page above the fold coverage as Mr. "Maverick".

Whenever the leftist vanguard wants a stooge with an "R" after his name to sanctify and co-sponsor their legislation, they can always count on McAmnesty. McCain-Edwards, McCain-Lieberman, McCain Fiengold, McCain-Kennedy. McCain has been in the Senate for 22 years. Can anybody name a single piece of conservative legislation with his name on it?

Unfortunately you're right on all points RK1! Equally unfortunate - he's the best of the bunch. Like I said this isn't the only election I'll attend where I'm voting for somebody because I'm really voting AGAINST somebody else (Hillary).

I almost switched parties when the primary carnival came to Texas simply so I could vote for Obama.

I don't think that the post had anything to do with politics....It was about the way a song should be sung...with heart, feeling, correct!!

Now, don't get me wrong, I will stick my .02 worth into any political thread that pops up...I am just making a point that this one did not start out that way...

Fair enough, Kickin, you're right. And thanks for posting the girls singing. Somebody mentioned John McCain. I'll plead guilty to everything after that point. Not that the alternative isn't as bad or worse. I'm mostly joking about "guilt" for the thread going political, but I wasn't meaning to pin that on you in any case. And again, those girls were terrific.

And when you know "how it should be sung" I think you also know how the country needs to be run. If you can sing it that clean - you can envision a politician, a leader, that can command the same patriotic energy.

These slobs cannot. I think we need an amendment that limits the pres to two-year terms. NEXT!
