"Once Tim and John came down the straight, the deer tried to turn back to the woods but slipped up and fell on the track. Tim suffered a few broken ribs, dislocated shoulder and I believe a dislocated finger as well. Just to give you an idea, you're at the top of fourth gear by the time you reach that turn."
