Post Whoring Newbie Thread
Not always tho, I go to a tree farm (good one) south of SA and on one of my last trips I notice while in N Austin that I am being followed very closely by a desert striped Dodge Charger going down I35. I'm pulling a trailer and I'm in the left lane and clipping along but this car keeps pressing me. When we get to the overhead divide I always choose low because an accy on the upper deck means hours.
As we get settled in to lower deck there is a break in traffic so I merge right and let these guys go by. Nice Charger, nice desert paint scheme and the tail says, "Border Patrol - Loredo Sector". They haul *** past me and I pull out to follow. What went on for the next forty minutes was one of the best rides of my life.
We went through k-d's hometown at nearly a hundred. At times as traffic would bottle and I could see that they could force the issue I was inches off their bumper. They knew I was there the whole time. They would pull to the right lane on slow traffic and pull back up and put on their blinker telling people to stay out of the fast lane. I would pack up behind the tourists and they would think I was part of the convoy. It worked great.
I lost them in Shertz as they squeaked into traffic that I couldn't get into but I had to laugh. What a ride.

Customer of mine was in this afternoon and reports widespread ammo shortages. Seems everyone is afraid of pending legislation that requires you to provide personal info and method of storage before selling it to you. Also by signing allows enforcement to enter your home to verify the facts presented.

When you get to that gun show, check the prices on brass cased .223 and small rifle primers, if you can find any. I don't believe any of the **** nuhawk's customer is worried about is going to become law in the short term future, but the instincts of his customer and millions like him are 100% valid. You can't have too many guns, and you can't have too much ammo.
Since you guys NEED more guns, I am selling my NIB Remington M40 Sniper (Vietnam Commemorative) rifle to add funds to my motorcycle jar. You guys know that you want to buy it. If you find me a buyer, I will mail a C-note as a finder's fee.
My house if worth about half what I could have sold it for 18 months ago. I'll have to continue to make do with the Savage 110FP.
Ha! There's worse things than having to keep a gun and shoot it. If you feel like driving 400+ miles, the Tulsa gun show is April 4-5. Best gun show in the world since the demise of the Pomona Ca. show (eight miles of tables), cash and carry, anything you want. California used to be a cool place to live, used to be Reagan country.
Now it's the Alta Tijuana socialismo banana republic.
There isn't likely to be a new Bill Clinton/G. W. Bush supported "assault weapon" ban;

Me too. Started a couple years ago. U.S. Police ordering massive amounts of ammo (do they know something?) followed by the reasonable response to election of the "magic negro". Bob Owens of Confederate Yankee is on the case;

I live 2 miles from the Camp Pendelton gate, and there has been a lot of helicopter action lately. Twice tonight, since it got dark, we've heard low flying jets. They've been gearing up for something for the last year.
