California is the place to be......

Well, not really I hate it here and will never move back.. But visting from time to time is ok

Blasting down 580 after leaving my old little home town of walnut creek, doing a steady 95 with the V1 running, the Shelby in cruise mode and got passed by a red vtr.....

So if one of you all noticed a white GT500 yesterday headed north as you where'd headed up 580 at about 1000, hey there, that was me

On to OR we go this morning.... And from there ....infinity and beyond.......well as long as I don't go so far I can not get back to central texas by the 19th or so

V1 ? Is this a radar detector ? You guys are so lucky to be able to use these neat little devises. Over here, they almost seize the car if you get caught with one, plus, from 1000$ to 5000$ fine.

Really? In ONT it's like 120 bucks and they take it...2 points I think also...$1000 is insane

Yes it's a radar detector. Valentine V1. One of the best, some say it is the best.
That is a very hefty and unreasonable fine!
If the Canadian LEO's are using Specter to sniff out a detector, the top models from Escort and Beltronics are undetectable.

Valentine One radar and laser detectors

Yes sir it is a detector, multi band / type.

And yes, I believe the best on the market.
Left TX 7 MAR, and the V1 has saved me 3 times since then. Ya I know, obay the posted speed limit and there would be no saving needed... But, pffffffttttt, sorry, not going to happen... The Shelby likes to run...and I let it as often as i can.

We still have a few states that restrict use of detectors, but luckly not the ones Im traviling though this trip.
Hanging in Oregon for a few days.... then reverse the route back to Texas.
