Ca Sucks.....
Ca Sucks.....
Yeah, I heard earlier this week about how we have no technical roads around here and other places have sooo much better riding.
I do feel crushed by that.....
Had to take the bike out and look around yesterday....

Man it really sucks around here so much that I forgot to take pictures of the actual road........

Yeah, well we only get eight days of rain here in California, about 24"s (at least that's what it seems like when it rains). Other that January, the rest of the year is brown and dry. No reason for anyone to come here to check it out.
Keep the lie alive. In Seattle , we find that the belief, by outsiders, that it always rains here is fine. Keeps the number of touristas down. I lived just off of Redwood Rd until I was 7 and my memory and trips back lead me to believe that I could find a good ride even today, but that's our secret. Remember California roads suck and it always rains in Seattle!
Wow great scenery! Hoping to make it out there someday and ride the Mullholland and other great roads. We got some great roads in KY,TN,GA,VA and we got Deals Gap, but man the snow is killin us this year.

My wife loves to go to the observation station near the top of Mauna Kea on the Big Island. The roads out there are quite special. All I kept thinkin' in the rental car was, some day........
I've ridden cross country. lived in SoCa. Driven to NoCa, Alaska, Maine Canada all great roads. The Big Island outback is all I have on my mind at this point.

Grew up in Dayton, Newport, and Covington! 8)
Too much stop & go there....with no lane splitting. I would have a cruiser if I moved back. Got so many tickets and overheating on my ZX-7R when I moved back for a few years...
Given the proximity to the rockies, I've no doubt that Cali, CO, AZ, or any of the other western areas have great roads to ride. Here in the east, I've found the roads in eastern WV going into VA to be the best I've found. They beat western NC and north GA simply from the perspective of quantity of endless roads to ride curves on. 50, 33, 250, 39, 311, 219...there's a host of them.
