Just curious. I am applying for the class and it says I need a sponsor.

Well do they have to be in your area? I know a couple in the Bay area I can hook you up with if that will help

I found out today a "sponsor" is an organization or company that will hire you after passing the course.

I think I got one, so I will keep you all updated if you are interested.

Phil,

Send me an email if you have any questions. The IP is great fun and you learn a lot. The IP is very similar in style to the actual BRC - very student centered. You learn it on your own with a partner. You do it. Everyone laughs at you when you f*&k it up. All in good fun. Never seen anyone drop their bike, but saw one guy get real close. Drop your bike in the IP and you're out. Whenever I teach the course now, it's wierd because I get into that teaching mode and I end up riding completely different than I normally do. All the bad habits go away. No more two-fingered braking. No more braking with front only. etc, etc, etc. Kinda funny.
