Selling my heavily modified 2000 SH
SOLD:
you can read details of it here, in the VtrOtM contest.

Its an awesome bike, rides great and has total miles on chassis of about 6500, probably 3000 on the built motor which was purchased separately with about 8K original on it I believe. I have owned the bike since new. It has never been down, dropped etc. I have taken it to local track days a handful of times. I have receipts and papers for almost everything on it and have put a lot of time effort and dollars into. I realize you can't get out what you put in. But I have other bikes, need the room and can't do any more projects until I free up something. I also don't have time to part it out now. So if it doesn't sell, I'll wait till winter and probably try again or part things out - which would be a shame. The blue book on one excellent year 2000 is $3000. So I am asking $4500 with OEM RC51 wheels, or $5500 with the OZ wheels. I have very mixed feelings about getting rid of it, so am in no way ready to lower those prices.
A run down of what I can recall (probably forgetting a few things):
Motor: Moriwaki stage 1 HC pistons, cams, ported heads. 118-120hp depending on the day
Carbs: HRC carb needles/slides tuned to engine/exhaust
Exhaust: Moriwaki full titanium exhaust
Controls: Moriwaki rearsets, Superbike Fatbars
Suspension:
Front: Full RC51 front forks, triples/brakes, radial mount calipers
Shock: Penske triple adjustable set up for 180 pound rider
Swingarm: JMC braced custom built swingarm
Wheels: RC51 (OEM or OZ wheels as described above). Dunlop qualifier tires like new
Ignition: HRC ignition module.
Mario Nava solo carbon fiber tailpiece
Miscellaneous: Speedohealer, Factory Pro Shiftstar,
The only thing the bike needs is to have the tailpiece painted. I had it done long distance and they matched color pretty well in indoor lighting - in bright sunlight it is not a match.
PM me if seriously interested. I'm located in minnesota - obviously easier if picked up, but shipping is possible and you could probably estimate in the $550 range.

Thanks guys. No I would never leave the site. Just not riding it much and bikes are meant to be ridden so someone should get it that will get the most out of it. Plus its good to move on and start new projects.

Finally sold the bike. Will undoubtedly find some spare parts left over will need to sell and will post when I do. I know I have a set of excellent shape RC51 wheels somewhere at least.
