FYI I’ve worked full time (4 years and PT 3) at a used sport bike shop and I’ve installed a metric chit ton of Ricks R/R’s and stators. Primarily in Gixxers that eat them. As far as I know, we’ve never had one come back. I’d highly recommend Ricks. Eriks first of course…

If Erik doesn't have them, I think a R/R for an early model R1 will do the job just fine. I have one I put on my Hawk about 15 years ago that still works great.
