Sort of..... I have 1 day a week at most to tinker..this week was ZERO days, next week Sat is looking good so far....lets see what breaks at the house, shop, car, truck, bike in the next few days to take that day away.

Still producing these? I recently picked up a SuperHawk on a trade, and I got burned on the deal with a failed R/R. I'd be happy to buy a kit in order to save myself some trouble if you have one available.

I have a MOSFET installed - its 9 yrs old - I need to test it to see if it went bad. How long do these last usually?

If Erik doesn't have them, I think a R/R for an early model R1 will do the job just fine. I have one I put on my Hawk about 15 years ago that still works great.

When the battery stops charging or the battery gets cooked. The third possibility is the stator windings fry, which is less likely.
